Summer Camp at Stone School


We are excited to offer summer camp at our historic Stone School House

Children between the ages of 3-6 years now have the opportunity to enjoy enriching theme based camp experiences.

Cost: $150 per session for non-members/$135 for current Stone School members

1June 3 - 7 1:30 - 4:30Creepy CrawlersExplore the world of insects! Children will enjoy digging in the dirt, looking for bugs, and learning about their habitats. Campers able get a chance to play games and activities such as fly swatter painting, walk the spider web, and parachute play.
2June 10-14 1:30 - 4:30Plants and GardeningDuring this week, children get to learn and participate in the basics of planting flowers and care taking for a garden.
3June 17-21 9:30 - 12:30Games GaloreThis week is filled with a variety of fine and large motor games. Children get an opportunity to have positive group interactions and learn essential social skills through game playing.
4June 24-28 9:30 - 12:30Little BuildersThis week offers children a chance to dig, mix, build, and tear down! Campers get a chance to use many different materials to create cities, construct bird houses and build airplanes.
5July 8-12 1:00 - 4:00Water ExplorationA week filled with water fun! Children will have an opportunity to play in sprinklers, water tables and enjoy picnic style snacks.
6July 15-19 1:00 - 4:00BeachThis camp offers fun in the sun! Campers will spend time inside and outside, playing in the sand, water play, and learning about sea creatures.
7July 22-26 1:00 - 4:00CampingChildren enjoy recreating outdoor camping experiences. Children will have fun playing with tents, singing songs, and eating s’mores.
8July 29-Aug 2 9:30 - 12:30Fairy TalesChildren will get to act out their favorite fairy tales through art, science, and game playing.
9August 5-9 9:30 - 12:30PhonicsThis camp offers a fun and play-based approach to the introduction to the most common sounds of the Alphabet, letter recognition and formation. Activities such as; Going On A Letter Hunt and Alphabet Dig make letter awareness easy and fun!

CAMP INFORMATION

 

  • Campers should bring a bag labeled (first and last name) water bottle labeled (first and last name), a set of extra dry clothing, and sunscreen labeled (first and last name) if using a brand other than that offered during summer camp.
  • If attending the Water Exploration or Beach Camp please send children to school in their bathing suits under their clothing or in a set of clothing that may get wet in sprinklers, and a towel labeled (first and last name).
