Our Mission

We are dedicated to creating a joyful introduction to school for our children. We strive to empower students, to fuel their love of learning, and to celebrate that which brings us together as well as that which makes us unique.

At Stone School we believe in promoting children’s natural curiosity and love of exploration. We know that children will innately search for understanding and discovery and we are here to offer guidance and new opportunities for deeper learning. At Stone School we encourage children to be curious and explore the world around them. We understand that play is a key component in development and the foundation for a love of learning. We celebrate the uniqueness of each child and find joy in working and playing together. 

Our Policies

All children enrolling in Stone School Cooperative Preschool must show proof of immunizations in order to attend class. SSCP will only accept medical waivers and will not allow any child whose family has not followed the state recommended vaccination schedule to enroll in our school. We understand that in rare circumstances children have medical conditions that are a contraindication for a particular vaccination. If this is the case, you must provide a signed statement from your child’s doctor stating that your child cannot receive a particular vaccine due to a true contraindication to the vaccine or vaccine component. All submitted medical waivers will be reviewed by our Health Coordinator to ensure their validity.
